Who is Dr. Zeynep Yadigaroğlu ?

She set up the first chamber choir and performed a lot of concerts while she was a student at İnönü University, Faculty of Education,  Music Education Department, where she entered into as the first ranking student in 2000. In 2004, she graduated with the highest honor in this department, and  soon after succeeded to get a master's degree education, she began working as a research assistant in 2005 in the same department.

In 2006, she was accepted to the PhD program. Then,  she attended in a scholar exchange program and completed her doctoral courses at Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannhneim in Germany. She started her professional choral music education and conducting practices while she was an assistant of the late choir conductor Prof.Dr. Bülent Birol, and took classes with Hülya Kazan who is a singer in Ankara DOB for a long time. She graduated as a PhD with her thesis titled "The Effects of Constructivist Approach in Choir Education on Self-efficacy, Attitude and Academic Achievement'' . In 2013, she was appointed as the founding assistant professor and the head of Music Education Department in Aksaray University.

In 2014, she earned a post-doc scholarship from YÖK (the Council of Higher Education), and conducted her post-doc studies at Tennessee State University in the USA. Meantime, she made presentations, held conferences and performed concerts on Polyphonic Turkish Music.

For her professional development, she participated in various national and international choral workshops and conducting masterclasses. Furthermore, she collected written and visual sources about Choral Warm-up. She also has published several national and international studies so far.

She qualified as an "alto chorist'' in chorist qualifications of J.Haydn's fabulous oratorio "The Creation''. In addition, she carried on a live recording with Cleveland Symphony Orchestra conducted by Grammy award winning maestro John Nelson in the USA. The recording was published on DVD in 2015.

She still continues to work as a lecturer at Aksaray University, Education Faculty, Music Education Department, and gives lectures in the subjects of Choir, Piano, Individual Vocal Education, History of Music and Music Culture.
